Previously he worked as an Alcohol and Other drug counsellor at central Drug Unit, Perth, WA and as a lecturer in the Department of Social Work at Curtin University

Satch first did a Phoenix Seminar in May 1997 and was so impressed with the participants’ results through Phoenix Rising Australia that he completed a 2 year Facilitator Training in 1998 and 1999 also attended around twenty 9 day workshops.

‘I am always amazed at Graeme's way of working people through their negative patterns to a new perspective. I believe he is one of the best one-on-one counsellors and group workers I have ever worked with. I've worked in the UK and the US as well as Australia.

I wanted to bring his training into the mainstream by aligning it with the competencies of Certificate IV in Community Services Work and Diploma of Community Services Work (Case Management). So, together with Graeme and Gayle that is what we’ve done.

I believe this is the best experiential training for people wishing to work with other people in a social work or psychological way.'
