I was first introduced to Phoenix Rising over ten years ago, and the first weekend workshop I attended made a profound difference to my life, direction, and outlook. Recently divorced, with a small child, buying into a business partnership, and struggling to keep it all together on limited time, energy, money and support, life was challenging at best. From that time on I became a Phoenix regular, and have continually learned and grown from the fabulous teaching, guidance and support of Graeme & Gayle and the Phoenix family. By examining and redesigning my patterns and beliefs about life, I have now created, and continue to refine, the life I desired, all with the ongoing guidance of the Phoenix philosophies of personal accountability, and personal responsibility for creating your own outcomes in life.
I have been a tax and management accountant for almost 20 years, and have worked in financial planning since 2001. I sold my accounting practice in 2005 and I now specialise in lifestyle planning: a combination of accounting, financial planning, and life coaching. Overall, I assist others to create choices in their lives, both financially and personally, by designing the life you want to live, across all aspects of life, then creating the action plan and implementing the steps to achieve these goals. As well as working in the accounting and financial planning arena, I conduct individual and group sessions to assist others to take control of their life and design their own big picture….and then to achieve it! I have experienced first-hand the possibilities of starting with nothing and achieving your desired outcome, and get great satisfaction from assisting other people to see their potential in life and move towards it.
One of my main dreams in life, having come from a wheat/sheep farm, was to live on a farm again, and raise my two beautiful sons in the country. In 2005 I bought my own little patch of land, and love the tranquility there, where I spend time with my family and tinker with my collectibles and rustic furniture, and indulge my love of interior designing.
